I love that video and even more so, I love the message. I don’t want to fall into the category of people who quit right before the breakthrough, who give up right before the sun comes up. I don’t want to give up on myself and more importantly, I don’t want to give up on God. Here’s some truth to swallow today.  It’s like the best multi-vitamin on the market!

i can do all things

Trust me, there have been several times that I’ve felt like quitting.  It’s too much, too hard, too stressful, too overwhelming.  And then I get a gentle reminder of who I am and where my strength comes from.  This gives me the courage to keep on keepin’ on.  Not just surviving, but thriving.  Not just getting by, but flying high.  Where in your life are you “just getting by”?  Everyone runs out of their own strength eventually.  Draw from the well and then, you can do ALL things.  Not just some things, but ALL things.

Sometimes, you take a truth like this and ponder it and all of the sudden, a little doubt creeps in. I’ve found that acting on the truth in faith, doing something about it, solidifies it as a root and then when the wind of doubt blows, I’m not shaken. Our physical challenge today is going to act on this truth. Ready?

  1. I love this one. It reminds me of when I was in college, they had a wall sit competition. All these strong guys and me made it to the end, I closed my eyes and started worshipping as my legs shook, and was able to continue on. I beat the guys. It wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn’t set my mind on God. It was a silly competition but such a great example of how when we turn our eyes on God, we are given new strength. I used that same method when I gave birth to my son at home without drugs. It’s amazing the pain you a can withstand while singing a worship song.
