How did you feel about your fitness level, health and self image before?
I felt okay about my fitness level as I had been working out religiously for a couple years prior to starting with Jamie. But I was frustrated that my efforts weren’t translating to the scale or the mirror. I have a gigantic sweet tooth, so I knew my health probably wasn’t the best. As far as self image, that was pretty much shot to heck when I was looking through pictures and didn’t recognize the person standing next to my husband. Talk about denial!
What results and benefits have you received?
Numbers are one thing, but overall I just feel fantastic! I’m stronger and more confident than I’ve been in years, maybe ever, and I feel like I can do anything! I’m so much more comfortable in my skin! Also, beings that my biggest issue was food, I love that Jamie is very realistic when it comes to what to eat. I don’t feel like I’m on some crazy diet so I’m confident that these changes can be made permanent.
Who would you recommend us?
Honestly I’d recommend this to anyone and everyone but especially to anyone struggling to reach their goals on their own. I knew what my problem areas were (food!) and I knew what I should and shouldn’t be doing but I just wasn’t changing what needed to be changed. The extra accountability, the extra knowledge and the extra (hard) push from Jamie has been invaluable. She is just plain amazing! She challenges you like no other! It’s obvious that she really cares about her clients and she wants them all to succeed and she knows how to work with each individual in setting realistic goals. In a nutshell, she’s really dang good at what she does!

I thought I knew what to do to lose weight, but I had fallen for a bunch of weight loss myths, and I just wasn’t making any progress toward my goals. With Jamie’s encouraging guidance; creative and challenging workouts; and nutrition counseling, I have lost 50 pounds, 35 inches, and 12% body fat. My life has been transformed beyond those numbers, though. I’ve discovered that I am stronger than I ever imagined (mentally & physically), and I am doing things today that I never imagined I could. And what’s more, I have every confidence that I can maintain this healthy lifestyle…because I love it!
